Meet Bernadette, a seasoned professional with a robust administrative background spanning from managing operations at a small business to overseeing a 75-unit government-subsidized housing facility. She earned a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration from California State University San Bernardino and a Masters of Science in College Counseling & Student Development from Azusa Pacific University.

For the past eight years, Bernadette has dedicated her career in higher education, excelling in various student-centered roles. Starting as an Advisor, supporting students academically and holistically. She has held a grant coordinator role and served as a committee member for multiple grant writing projects. Currently serving as the inaugural scholarship Program Director, she has achieved a remarkable 90%+ student retention rate, leading teams across 7 campuses in coordinating co-curricular and professional development initiatives for over 600 students.

Bernadette’s lifelong purpose revolves around supporting the goals and dreams of the students she encounters, fostering relationships through mentorship and resourcefulness. Joining the creative finance community aligns with her values, where she aims to continue her purpose amid a community of constant learners.

Her life motto, “if you don’t know, find out,” reflects her open-minded and curious nature, leading her to pursue a Ph.D. in I/O psychology and teach psychology at the collegiate level. Her natural leadership is evident through her strengths in responsibility, maximization, and futuristic vision.
